The relaxed oversized cut of our John short-sleeved shirt remains, but the fabric is new: the material made from 50% organic cotton and 50% Bananatex® is supple and a real innovation*.

Bananatex® is made from the fibers of the abacá plant, which grows in the Philippines in an existing permaculture together with cocoa and teak trees. Its natural pore structure makes the fabric breathable and moisture-regulating.

In combination with the soft organic cotton, the result is a light, balanced feel. At the same time, Abacá is one of the most tensile natural fibers and ensures that the fabric remains beautiful for a long time, even when worn and washed frequently. This special textile quality is also available as bed linen Liam bed linen.
