The stonewash finish not only gives Lavie's duvet covers and pillowcases that extra touch of softness, but also makes the young Swiss brand's collections a pioneer in style. The brand, based in the traditional Balsiger house in Langenthal, Bern, now offers even more textiles for the home, such as rugs, cloth napkins, towels, and bedspreads. The designs are created in Switzerland in collaboration with the Zambon & Stahl studio.
 
From Portugal with Love

Lavie's products are made from certified Indian organic cotton, Portuguese linen, or hemp. The stonewash finish makes all three fabrics pleasantly soft, and you don't need to iron them. The slightly firmer linen and hemp fabrics can be a bit wrinkled. By producing in Portugal, they focus on short distances, as it's important to them to maintain the longest and most trusting relationship possible with their production partners. Since summer 2019, Lavie has been GOTS-certified as a brand, which means that Lavie meets the highest social and environmental standards throughout its entire manufacturing process.
